For the fourth year in succession Celton Manx is to sponsor Douglas Borough Council’s public fireworks display, taking place this year on Friday November 7th.
The bonfire will be lit at 7.15pm by the Mayor of Douglas Stan Cain and at 7.30pm a spectacular fireworks display fired to music from a barge in the vicinity of the war memorial on Douglas promenade.
Celton Manx executive director Bill Mummery said: ‘Celton Manx is pleased to be sponsoring this community event once again. The Council’s fireworks are always an exceptional display made all the more enjoyable set to music and succeeds in attracting the crowds, not only from Douglas but also island wide. It is an eagerly anticipated community event that creates a great atmosphere in the town and which Celton Manx is pleased to be sponsoring once again.’
